Do we match? We hope so. The Good Knife is about more than just a meal. We build strong relationships with our clients and provide highly personalized experiences. It's important for us to know each other so that the menus and food we create for you are built around your specific palette and sensibility, whether it's for everyday or an extra special occasion.

Centrally located only a few blocks from Union Square, we do loads of shopping at the Farmers Market as well as specialty stores throughout NYC. Our menus revolve around what's seasonal and regional and we often buy directly from the farm. This means in-season, local, organic ingredients including meat, eggs, poultry, and dairy raised on grass and organic feed; wild fish caught in rivers and oceans; fruits and vegetables grown without chemicals or GMO's; and whole foods minimally processed. Of course we like the environmental awareness part, but foods at their seasonal peak also just taste better.
